Ken Dryden played 7 years for Montreal before retiring in 1979. He also was the winning goalie in the ’72 Summit Series against the Soviet Union.

Tony Esposito was a Canadian/American professional ice hockey goalie, who played 15 seasons for Chicago. He was known for the butterfly style.
Davidson - New York
John Davidson was drafted fifth overall in 1973, and became the first goalie in hockey history to jump directly from major junior to the big leagues.
PALMATEER - TORONTO
Mike Palmateer played from 1976 to 1984 for Toronto and Washington. I remember him most when he dove in every direction to block shots.
Roy - Montreal
Patrick Roy split his playing career between the Montreal (11 years), and Colorado (8 years). He won four Cups during his career, two with each franchise.
Wheeler - Winnipeg
Blake was drafted by the Phoenix in the first round, fifth overall, in the 2004. He signed with Boston in 2008 then traded to Atlanta (now Winnipeg) in 2011.
Weber - Montreal
Shea Weber played for Nashville then traded to Montreal for P.K. Subban in 2016. In 2022 Weber's contract was traded to Vegas for Evgenii Dadonov.
Matthews - TORONTO
Auston Matthews was selected 1st overall in 2016 by Toronto, becoming the first American to be picked with the top selection since Patrick Kane in 2007.
